The town divided into east and west by the Chao Phraya River.  The area with a lot of tourists is 10 Km east of the Grand Palace, and 6 Km north and south.  Chronic traffic congestion on roads remains as usual, but construction of transportation infrastructure such as expansion of railway facilities is progressing.  It's already a modern city, but it still has some good old places.
