Shopping in Bangkok
One of the real pleasure of traveling. It makes me happy if a good bargain was found on site.
There are many shopping places in Bangkok. Expensive items can't bought, but I walk around the city in search of reasonable and good items.
Market
The characteristics of items such as for travelers or for residents vary depending on the market. I'm enjoying it as if I was searching for treasure.
Night Market
Bangkok, the city that never sleeps. The city is relatively safe so night shopping can be enjoyed. It's cool at night and the illumination lights are bright and beautiful, so just by looking at it can be enjoyed.
Stores
These are major shopping facilities that are being opened in Bangkok. There are various department stores, from well-established department stores to emerging foreign-affiliated department stores.
Robinson
Local department store for middle class. Leisurely shopping can be while enjoying the local atmosphere. Many reasonable prices items can be found.
Decathlon
French sports equipment company. It has stores all over the world. Quechua brand outdoor products are also substantial and are offered at a reasonable price range.
Central
A typical shopping mall in Thailand. Associated store include Robinson and Big C. There are various brand shops, supermarkets, restaurants, etc., so that visitors will not be bored. Of course, souvenirs are also available. In my case, it is used to search for higher-grade items.
Big C
Supermarket stores in Thailand and Vietnam. Central Group subsidiary. I mainly buy side dishes, and clothes which use on site. Low price souvenirs are also available.
Tesco Lotus
Supermarket stores in Thailand and China. There are 24 stores in Bangkok.
Others
Shopping facilities other than the above stores.
