1. Suan Chitralada Palace

Royal Palace is the formal residence of the King of Thailand.  On the other hand, Chitralada Palace is the center of the Thai royal family, with practical residences and offices.

2. Vimanmek Mansion Palace 

พระที่นั่งวิมานเมฆ

This palace was built by King Rama V as a villa in 1902, and is a three-storey wooden building made entirely of teak wood.
It is also called the Rama V Museum.  Currently not admitted to enter.

3. Rajadamnern Boxing Stadium 

สนามมวยราชดำเนิน

OPEN 18:00 - (Mon,Wed,Thu), 17:00 - (Sun), 20:00 - (Sun)

It is similar to Lumpinee Stadium, it has the highest authority in the permanent Muay Thai facilities.  It was opened as a national boxing stadium in 1941 as an outdoor match venue, and in 1951 the current building was completed.  It can accommodate more than 10,000 people. The audience seats are air-conditioned and comfortable.

4. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium 

สนามมวยลุมพินี

OPEN 18:00 - 23:00 (Tue,Fri), 16:00 - 19:00 (Sat), 20:00 - 24:00 (Sat)

 It is similar to Rajadamnern Stadium, it has the highest authority in the permanent Muay Thai facilities.  In 2014, it moved from the side of Lumpinee Park to near Don Mueang Airport.  The transportation to the new stadium is not good.  A station will be built within walking distance if the BTS extension work proceeds.

5. The National Gallery 

พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ

OPEN 9:00 - 16:00 (Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays.)

 Opened as an art museum on August 8, 1977.  Traditional paintings and paintings by Thai contemporary artists are on permanent display.

Admission fee : 200B (for foreigner), 30B (for Thai)

6. National Museum Bangkok  

พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร

OPEN 9:00 - 16:00 (Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays.)

 The largest museum in Thailand.  Built in the royal palace during King Rama V era, it was relocated to its current location in 1887.  There are more than 1,000 exhibits in the museum, and art and art objects from prehistoric times to modern times are neatly displayed for each genre and era.

Admission fee : 200B (for foreigner), 30B (for Thai)

7. King Prajadhipok Museum 

พิพิธภัณฑ์พระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว

OPEN 9:00 - 16:00 (Closing day : Monday)

 A three-story museum displaying valuable items from King Rama VII and the Queen.  This building, which was used as a department store, was renovated to become a museum.

8. Suan Pakkad Palace Museum  

OPEN 9:00 - 16:00

 The former residence of Queen Charm pot, one of Thailand's leading gardeners and art collectors.  The collection of oriental art and antiques, shells, mineral crystals, pottery and bronze figurines on display are unearthed from the prehistoric ruins "Ban Chiang", a World Heritage Site in northeastern Thailand.

9. Royal Barge National Museum  

พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ เรือพระราชพิธี

OPEN 9:00 - 17:00 (Mon-Sun) Closing day : 12/31,1/1,Thai New Year

 Eight Royal Barges are on display, including the King's glittering Spannah, which was actually used in the Barges Parade to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the throne of the former King.  The decorations and festival items used in various royal events are also on display.
